Last week in class we worked on adding to our websites. Each week we customize the website more and more to fit the aesthetic preferences of each individual person.
There are tons of web training programs offered online that can be useful to learning and furthering knowledge though web design.
These programs are useful because it gives you access to people with lots of knowledge on a particular subject at any time you want.
One of the programs offered that I believe would benefit me the most would be Treehouse.Treehouse is a web based service that offers training in HTML and CSS. This particular service interested me because the training videos are very high quality and professionally produced which is something that is important to me. This makes it easier to pay attention and understand the information.
If CA260 were taught solely online it would be very different. I believe it would be useful in the fact that it would be an easier schedule to follow and you could access it whenever you want. The problem for me personally is that you may not have the ability to ask questions and pick the professors brain as easily as you can in a classroom setting. This is something that is very important to me in order to better understand what is going on. I believe I would not like it as much if the class is solely online. I believe I would get less out of it because I wouldn’t feel as personally catered to.
